ICTP Mosque Partial Opening Rules

Following the Governor’s executive order to allow religious places of worship to partially open, the ICTP Mosque will be partially open starting Friday, June 19th. Please remember that this decision is based on finding the right balance between the need to keep everyone safe and physically healthy and at the same time, the need to maintain our spiritual, emotional and social health. The ICTP has placed as best we can, the following precautionary measures to ensure that our visitors are kept safe.
1. High traffic areas such as the mimbar and instruments such as the microphone will be frequently disinfected
2. Occupancy will be limited to 25% or 30 people at any one time
3. Hand sanitizers are placed in the building
4. Prayer times and services will be minimized
5. When in the building, doors and windows will be opened to encourage fresh air to flow inside

If you decide to visit the mosque, you will do so at your own risk. In order to ensure everyone’s safety, you are required to follow these rules.
1. Everyone will be required to wear face masks when on ICTP property including the parking lot
2. Everyone must bring their own personal prayer rug
3. The following groups of people are NOT allowed on ICTP property:
    - Children younger than 10 years
    - Adults with pre-existing conditions such asthma, other respiratory ailments, immunocompromised ailments, heart conditions, obesity and diabetes
    - People 65 or older
4. The sharing of items like the Quran, prayer books, prayer rugs are prohibited.
5. Sharing of plates and similar items are prohibited
6. Prayer lines should be arranged to allow for 6 feet of space between people

7. Use of the Mesjid bathroom is discouraged. Make your wudhu at home before coming to the Mesjid.

If you do not follow any of these rules, you may be asked to leave the property
May Allah lift these challenges from us. Ameen.

Tragedy in New Zealand

We the Muslims in Duluth and the Islamic Center of Twin Ports stand with their Muslim brothers and sisters who were viciously attacked in New Zealand and we stand with all people who are victims of senseless hate and violence. We urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to be patient in facing this tragedy and to work even harder to earn the pleasure of God. There is great wisdom behind everything and we rely on God's Mercy.

ICTP Donation Drive

Recently, we lost a few families who were kind donors to ICTP. To help maintain the heating and other utilities for the mesjid, we need more people to donate as much as they can on an ongoing, preferrably monthly basis. To donate, an auto-debit bank form can be downloaded, filled and submitted to start your ongoing monthly donation. It doesn't matter how small it is, your donation will be multiplied by Allah at least 700 times. Go to the donation page or click below to download the form.
